How do your prices compare within the industry?
We are very proud of the fact that we are competitively priced within the industry. All our products are hand crafted by our very own team in Melbourne who produce everything nationally, this allows us to keep our costs down and pass those savings on to you?

Is the shoot at home or in studio?
All our professional photographic shoots take place in our studios based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Our studios have state of the art photographic and lighting equipment and are situated in a luxurious 5 star environment.

What’s included in the Verve Experience
Your Verve Experience is one to remember in every way and will be tailored to suit you. The Verve team will take you on a journey to capture your story with a professional photo shoot followed by a cinematic design experience. Can I purchase an experience to use later or book for a friend?

Who can I bring to my session?
You will be making memories that feature as bespoke artwork to hang in your home. We specialise in family portraiture so we encourage you to bring your whole family. Whether this be multiple generations of your family, you and your partner or your beloved pet. Our artwork is intended to be in your home forever so we want you to ensure that your loved ones are all included. Our studios can accommodate up to around 10 family members.

Can I bring my pet to my photography session?
We have photographed all sort of pets at Verve, we understand they are part your family. We want to ensure that it’s the right environment for them as our studios are designed to cater for families getting nice and cosy on our couch. Talk to one of our guest experience representatives about your furry friend to find out more.

Do you provide a service for hair and make up?
Hair and Makeup is not a service we provide. Verve is about revealing the real you and celebrating it! Feel free to have your hair and makeup done on the day if you would like, however we recommend you simply apply makeup and style your hair, as you would for a night out. We find we get the best images if you come looking like yourself. Our talented photographers, retouch artists and studio lighting will ensure that you look your very best.

Do you provide clothes or props for us to use in the shoot?
As we believe that every family is different we want to show this in the images. Instead of having props or clothes at the studio we encourage you to bring along a few changes of clothing and personal items that are special to you. One of our experienced pre-session stylists or photographers will help you prepare for your shoot in the weeks before your experience.

Do you take “traditional” portraits as well?
At Verve, we believe that still, lifeless and posed images are a thing of the past. We find that we get the most vibrant and emotional images by having our subjects interact with each other, instead of posing for the camera! We believe you’ll love this different approach away from traditional portrait photography. Our aim is to celebrate the unique qualities of the relationships you’ve created with those you love.

Do you photograph weddings?
Our photography experiences are conducted in our studios, we generally do not photograph weddings, however a Verve Couples Experience is a great way for the newlyweds to celebrate the occasion with relaxed and spontaneous images that are completely different to the traditional posed images often taken at weddings.
Many brides actually bring in their wedding dress to capture the essence of the day in Verve style (without the stress!) -
Do you offer corporate photography at my business?
We specialise in studio photography, however for larger organisations we can organise a custom experience quote to suit your requirements. Simply call our team on 1300 083 783.
Artwork & Production

How long until I receive my artwork?
Production of artwork takes up to 6 weeks from the date you confirm your order. Once your artwork has been dispatched from our Melbourne Production Warehouse our courier partner will update you via email with tracking details and estimated delivery date.

When will I receive my Digital Images?
Digital Albums are sent via email within 5 business days of confirming your order. At times this email may fall into your Junk, Spam or Promotions folder.

It’s been 6 weeks, where is my artwork?
On occasion there may be slight delays in production due to the handcrafted nature and high quality control standards of Verve Artwork. Our production team will advise you via email if there will be a delay. Visit https://www.verveportraits.com.au/my-order/ to get in touch with the team.

What do I do if my Artwork has been damaged in transit?
Although Verve takes the utmost care in packaging your artwork, at times it may encounter damaged during the transit process. Simply visit https://www.verveportraits.com.au/returns and our production team will be in touch within 2 business.

Do you recommend any hanging services for Verve artwork?
If you require any hanging services, please refer to our list of Recommended Installation Providers. We’ve worked with all the artwork hanging services listed and they will be familiar with our products.

Are refunds available on artwork?
All our artwork is custom made, therefore we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
